Catch A BrakeProduct & experience design

01 / The brief

A product with a purpose.

Catch A Brake brings skilled automotive care to the customer. AiQorx shaped a digital experience around that personal service, with cinematic storytelling at the front and practical tools for the working day behind it.

The project combines a distinctive public website with custom booking, parts discovery, CRM, and an owner workspace. Customer and vehicle records connect the appointment to the work around it, while location sharing keeps the visit visible to the customer.

02 / The challenge

Start with
the real work.

A mobile service business has to earn trust before the first visit and coordinate several moving parts after it: the vehicle, the appointment, the customer relationship, and the mechanic’s arrival. The experience needed to feel personal while keeping that operational detail understandable.

03 / The experience

A clearer path
from start to finish.

A warm, cinematic introduction leads into service selection, vehicle information, booking, and the visit itself. The owner experience carries the same attention to clarity into daily operations.

04 / Under the surface

Thoughtful decisions.
Useful details.

01

Cinematic heroes with a human center

Custom motion-led hero treatments put the mechanic and the service in context. An emerald and warm ivory palette, orange accents, and spacious typography connect the public pages, booking preview, and owner-access experience.

02

Vehicle-aware parts discovery

A custom parts inventory connects to O’Reilly Auto Parts, with more than 140,000 SKUs in the client-confirmed catalogue scope. Vehicle selection connects the customer with relevant parts across categories, bringing discovery into the same branded experience as service booking.

03

Custom booking and customer context

The custom experience brings service selection, vehicle details, and scheduling into a dedicated customer journey. Customer profiles, vehicle records, booking statuses, and mechanic notes give the operation useful context around each appointment.

04

CRM and a dedicated owner workspace

A private owner experience organizes the business behind the website. Booking filters, customer context, status changes, and visit controls give the operator a focused place to run the day. The supplied owner-access screen carries the same visual identity into that private workspace.

05

Location sharing with an explicit lifecycle

The tracking implementation includes mechanic consent, active and paused sessions, realtime customer updates, and a polling fallback. Location freshness and session state help customers understand what is being shared. Arrival estimates in the reviewed code are approximate distance-based estimates.

06

A consistent experience across devices

Responsive service pages, form validation, light and dark presentation, customer notifications, and a clear service-area journey support the product beyond its opening screen.

05 / Technology

The foundation
behind the product.

Each part of the stack has a job. These are the technologies supporting the documented implementation.

React & TypeScript

Typed customer and operations interfaces

Vite & Tailwind CSS

Build tooling and responsive brand presentation

Supabase / Postgres

Authentication, customer records, bookings, and realtime updates

TanStack Query

Remote data loading and cache coordination

Framer Motion

Interface transitions and visual continuity

The reviewed repository still contains earlier HeyGoldie and Square booking paths. Custom booking, CRM, owner-workspace design, and the 140,000+ SKU O’Reilly integration are included from the client-confirmed project scope; production activation was not audited.

06 / The result

Built to be used.

A cohesive digital experience that connects the way Catch A Brake presents itself with the way the business works. Cinematic storytelling, booking, parts discovery, CRM, and location sharing belong to one product vision, with a consistent visual language across the customer and owner journeys.
